Cacti Blossom... Up Close and Personal...
Purple Oregano ... Grown from seed (another minuscule miracle) and a feast for the bees...
Snoopy update: Snoopy and I are "bikejoring" most everyday. I will give a complete report on the sport one day soon, it is a blast! Basically, it involves mountain biking in concert with your dog. With the regular, strenuous exercise, his behavior is much more manageable. He is much more tuned into me as well, which is going a long way to aid in controlling him. A big surprise came this weekend, with a visiting pooch. He "left it" quite well. He is proving to be really quite a kind canine... i hope.... Snoopy has a visit with his doggie shrink tomorrow, for more canine aggression treatment, maybe he's cured! We'll see. Below, Snoopy and his "new friend", Tyke.
Afternoon Light, Bumblebee Delight...
Cacti Bloomin'...
Yucca In Full Bloom...Weeping Willow in the background...Sunflower, and squash companions...
Gravenstein Apple...These are good eating NOW!
Prune Plum...in a sea of Shasta Daisy... Satsuma Plum..These are a deep red, freestone, and very meaty. This plum tree is loaded with super large plums, and I have yet to protect it... and now, of course, the birds are moving in...Bambi Makes an Appearance...There are two fawns with their mother that are frequenting my yard these days...and below, Basic Eastward Vista...What is the name of that lumpy mountain? I love that bump! addendum: Mount Lassic. Thank you anon!

It's Mount Lassic, and if you like it from a distance, climb it for a real mind-blower. It's actually threee distinct peaks, of distinct geologies, named (I think) Black, Red and Green Lassic for reasons obvious there and invisible here.

I Live on down Elk Ridge toward Briceland, and really enjoy your garden. Thanks!
